Frequently asked questions
How are the rolls calculated?
The calculator determines the number of full-width strips needed, the cut length of each strip, and the number of complete strips obtainable from each roll. It then adds the selected waste allowance.
Does pattern repeat increase wallpaper use?
Yes. A repeating design may require each cut to be rounded up to the next full repeat.
Are doors and windows deducted?
They are deducted from the displayed net wall area. The roll estimate remains conservative because it does not assume offcuts around openings can always be reused.
